25 And I say to you in accordance with [God’s] truth— there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah when the heaven was shut for three years and six months, when a great famine took place over all the land. 26 And Elijah was sent to none[a] of them, except to [the village of] Zarephath of-Sidon, to a widow woman. 27 And there were many lepers in Israel in the time of Elisha the prophet. And none of them was cleansed, except Naaman the Syrian”.

- Luke 4:26 Elijah and Elisha did not do the miracle for Israel. Jesus is putting His hometown people in the same class as unbelieving Israel in the days of Elijah and Elisha.
